Operational, not playful
We write like the people running the corridor — not like a marketing agency that visited it once. Clear over clever. "Booking confirmed" beats an emoji.
Hauloop is the cross-border haulage marketplace for West Africa. We build the operational layer that turns the empty return leg — historically the worst economics in the corridor — into a matched, paid load.
Across the West African corridors a truck running Tema → Bamako with mining inputs is paid well for the outbound leg. The truck then drives back empty. The diesel, driver wages, border fees, and depreciation are paid twice; revenue is collected once.
Hauloop was built around closing that loop. Carriers mark a truck empty after delivery; shippers with cargo on the same lane and date see the truck before they pay a third party to move it. The platform indexes verified capacity, prices the lane fairly, and settles in the carrier's preferred currency.
The thesis is not "build a tech-enabled freight forwarder." It is: the marketplace surface, plus the operational discipline of cross-border haulage, plus settlement in source currency, plus a driver app built for the road that crosses borders, not the office that runs the company.
Anglophone Ghana and Nigeria; Francophone Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Mali, Togo, Benin, and Niger. Three settlement currencies. Two languages from the first booking.

Reach
Six of the eight launch countries are Francophone. Every product surface ships in English and French — written by native speakers, not translated mechanically after launch.
Honesty
If a milestone hasn't synced yet, the UI says so. If a corridor is operating with a manual fallback, ops says so. The fastest way to lose a fleet is to claim a feature that doesn't ship.
Whether you're a shipper with cross-border cargo, a fleet owner with empty return capacity, or a partner who wants to plug into the rails — the team is reachable.
